occupation for her.

Kellock, an Oakville resident since 1978, is a native of Montreal where she
studied under Arthur Lismer (Group of Seven) and Anne Savage at the Montreal
Museum of Fine Arts. She later attended Sir George Williams School of Art (now
part of Concordia University) and returned there to teach for six years. She
also studied with well-known Canadian and American artists. Joyce feels that the
activities of children remain constant in a rapidly changing world, and in
recent years, this has been an important theme of her work. Her ever-changing
experiments in different mediums are portrayed in her range of subject and
style. Her paintings are found in both private and corporate collections
worldwide.
Judith

Judith, a
long-time resident of Oakville, has been studying watercolour painting for a
number of years and continues to explore this challenging medium through
workshops and classes with several well-respected artists. "Watercolour
allows me to interpret what I see, be it floral or appreciation of the beautiful
world around me."
Peri

several medias- oil, inks, watercolour, acrylics, inks, mixed media and dyes on
silks. Her artistic style ranges from realistic through impressionism to
abstract. Peri is active in many art related organizations, a former
teacher, she served as Gallery and Education director at the Chatham Cultural
Centre.
Sharane
Gilbert
For over twenty
years, Sharane has had a love/hate relationship with watercolour; so she has
recently renewed a earlier interest in oils. She is primarily an "alla
prima" painter, just finishing up in the studio. It's always the immediacy
of the subject matter that inspires me. For me it is all about process, colour,
line texture and shape; the physical thing of making your mark. Sharane's work
has won awards in juried shows and is on display at several venues in Oakville
and Burlington.
