Student Show Success

Many people have helped to make our Student Show a great success. The OAS has been buzzing with friendly conversation and positive comments for several days. Parents and grandparents have been thrilled with the positive experience for their youngsters, perhaps our artists of the future. Adult contributors are to be congratulated on the quality of their art which really impressed the viewers.

Special thanks to our convenor, Lil O’Reily, and her helpers, in particular Ron Bush, Robert Pestrin and Rita Munday who helped with the take in and set up of the show. Thanks to the others who contributed food, drink and time to meet and greet visitors.

To Mary and Sabine, thanks for handling the certificates and the promotion work that goes into organizing  such an event.

Several students sold their creations to complete strangers and that was a thrilling experience for them. All in all, a busy few days but worth the effort to see the smiles and hear the happy chatter of friends and strangers.

Congratulations!
