Student Show Success 

Many people have helped to make our Student Show a great success. The OAS has been buzzing with friendly conversation and positive comments for several days. Parents and grandparents have been thrilled with the positive experience for their youngsters, perhaps our artists of the future. Adult contributors are to be congratulated on the quality of their art which really impressed the viewers.

Special thanks to our convenor, Helen Hendry, and the volunteers who helped with the take in and set up of the show. Thanks to the others who contributed food, drink and time to meet and greet visitors.

One student sold her creation to a complete stranger, it was her first sale, and that was a thrilling experience for her. All in all, a busy few days but worth the effort to see the smiles and hear the happy chatter of friends and strangers.
